FO: Shetland Triangle

My friend, Erica, started the Lace is My Bitch group on ravelry, so I pretty much have to thank her for me finally knitting this pattern. I've always thought that the Shetland Triangle was pretty, but had never had a reason to knit it. It didn't help that I'm not much of a shawl person and really wanted to keep this for myself once I did knit it.
I cast on for this on New Year's Day and finished it in five days. Woot! I initially cast on with US 6s, but it seemed way too loose. The 4s worked out great, I think.
I wanted this to be a bit small and Ishbel-esque. It ended up being about 42" on the long side, which is perfect. It definitely isn't the warmest thing in the world, but I do think it's pretty.
