Yeah, I've been gone for a while. I'm hoping to get through the (not-very-large, unfortunately) backlog of FOs I haven't posted soon. Anyway, this was a nice pattern: well-written, fast to knit. However, if I had to do it again, I would definitely use a thinner yarn. STR Mediumweight is so thick! I like that the garter fabric makes this a bit warmer, but...yeah. I wish I would have had a skein of Lightweight to use. If I ever use the Mediumweight again (which I don't think I'd do for socks unless I was trying to make heavy-duty winter ones), I'd probably go up to a US6 needle. The 4s were too small.
