Time to quit? April Fools'!

The whole sordid Dogwood Donna saga has made me really depressed about knitting in general. So much so, in fact, that I think I'm going to just call it quits. :(

Don't worry. If you entered the contest in the link above, I'll definitely be picking a winner today. I might even have a bunch of other stash yarn to sell / give away. I'll keep you all posted.

ETA: April Fools'! Like I could ever stop knitting!!!

Comments:
Wow, Lynne, I am really, really sorry about how horrible you feel! I don't think I've ever experienced anything as thoroughly enraging as spending that much time on a knitting project only to have it spectacularly fail. I have one sweater that I shoved away in the back of the closet that I can't even look at without getting angry. Anyway, if you want opinions (which maybe you don't, and if not, just ignore the rest of my comment) I wouldn't start selling/giving stuff away quite yet. It could be that a hiatus would be enough for you. I've definitely put away the needles for months at a time before and come back to them later on.

Don't quit, maybe you just need to take a breather, or take on a really easy project with instant gratification.

By the way, I am very excited to have won your little contest. I have never won anything like this before. I will drop you an email with my address.
