The Year in Review: 2007

For me...

First Row: Droplet Hat, SSS Sock, Provincial Waistcoat, Lotus Blossom, Hourglass
Second Row: Gusseted Floor Cushion, Cable and Bobble Headband, Molly Ringwald, Gretel, Forecast
Third Row: Airy Wrap-Around Lace Cardigan, Luxe Neckwarmer, Prairie Tunic, Le Slouch, Farmer's Market Bag
Apparently, this was the year for pink, red, and purple for me. I adore green, but didn't finish a single thing for myself in anything even remotely resembling green. However, I am working on my Tilted Duster, so at least 2008 will start off with a new color. I definitely see more slouchy hats in my future, since they look much better on me than regular hats. I'll probably post what else I'm planning on doing next year in the next week or so.

For Others...

First Row: Mom's Hourglass, Auntie Eleanor's Birthday Shawl, Ami's Umbilical Cord Hat, Ami's Pure and Simple Pullover, Ami's Baby Hat, Grandma's Birthday Shawl
Second Row: Nadine's Chicago Card Dashings, Nadine's Stripey Scarf, Nadine's Panta, Bianca's Miss Dashwood, Jeannie's Birthday Shawl, Nadine's Shedir
Third Row: Super-Fun Scarf, Auntie Bessie's Birthday Shawl, Ami's Baby Sweater, John's Birthday Scarf, Julia's Helmetliner, Second Sock Syndrome Swap Sock
Fourth Row: Bianca's Angora Baby Bootees, Auntie Lottie's Birthday Shawl, Ami's Angora Baby Bootees, Nadine's Grandmum's Shawl, Uncle John's Birthday Socks, Auntie Helen's Birthday Shawl
Yes, I was quite busy this year. Instead of Xmas gifts, my family members each got a knitted birthday gift. It worked out pretty well, since I didn't have to work to one deadline. I was only late gifting two items, but one was only because I didn't see the recipient early enough. However, I think I'm going to take 2008 off from making large items as gifts. I think everyone may just get small Xmas gifts next year instead. We shall see...

Comments:
