so close...

i am so close to being able to finish a few things. i still need to hunt down new buttons for forecast, since my original ones didn't work out. hopefully, i'll be able to find some plain, non-shiny ones that are pretty close to the color of the yarn.

the farmer's market bag needs a second strap and i'm hoping to make some headway tomorrow. after that, i just need to do a quick seam (actually, probably a three-needle bind off) and weave in the ends before tossing it in the washer to felt.

once again, the shorter days are cutting into my knitting picture-taking time. my aunt's shawl is done, so i'd like to get the pictures posted of that tomorrow and write a quick blog post on it.

in the just-started category, i have a slipped stitch rib sock and my...
NANTUCKET JACKET!!!

i've wanted to make this for years and am thrilled to have cast on. i'm only three rows in so far. i need to figure out how much longer i want to make it before i start the decreases.
