non-skully skully sweater
for: me!
started: ~january 2004
finished: ~february 25, 2006
yarn: lion brand wool-ease worsted weight in oxford grey, with a little bit in fisherman for the sleeve
needles: us size 10
pattern: skully by samantha bliss
source: stitch 'n bitch: the knitter's handbook by debbie stoller
well, it's done! amazing, isn't it? it just took me a bit over a year. i could deal with the sleeves being an inch or so longer, but i think i could block them to fix it. also, my intarsia leaves something to be desired, but i'm hoping that i can work on my technique some more in the near future. the main change i made was that i put "nerd" on the left sleeve instead of the skull design, and left the right sleeve plain.
overall? i'm really happy with it and i'm wearing it right now. pictures forthcoming...
