just an update
well, i finished a commissioned scarf (using just one skein of joann sensations angel hair yarn in black/gray) last night. woo hoo! that will give me some money to play with at the renegade craft fair this weekend. i can't wait!
i also think that i'm almost done with the big red scarf i'm making for myself. it's just in garter stitch, but the yarn is really interesting, so it's doing a bit of a wavy thing. odd, but cool. i don't think i'll use more than 3 balls of yarn on it, which is fabulous, since it will leave me with about 4 more to play with.
after i'm done with that, i'm going to get back to nadine's green orangina.
at work, i have the first (of too many) squares for an afghan that nadine and i are making together. it needs to be about 12 inches square and i think i'm only about 1 inch in.

just an update
endless loop scarf
i finished my endless loop scarf last night. it didn't even use up one and a half skeins of the wool/silk yarn i got from stitches midwest, so it cost less than $7.50 to make. can't beat that! plus, it's WARM! now, i just need to figure out what to do with the other skein and half that i have left over. i'm going to knit up a swatch and see how it felts. if that goes well, i'm going to look around for a cute bag pattern. if not, i might just end up making mittens and...something.
my first fringe
i made a scarf with some lovely angel hair yarn from joann. i started and finished it on sunday. good times! i just did it in garter stitch and made some fringe for the ends. it's really cute and soft. oh, and it's a xmas gift.
leaf pattern scarf
lace can suck it. seriously, though, i'm not sure what i'm going to do. i just think that the lace is looking silly in stockinette. i'm have managed to find a decent pattern online yet, so i might check out some books if i'm out and about over the weekend.

i haven't had the heart to do the measuring and frogging that needs to be done, so i haven't touched this one in a while. i'll probably do that tonight.
