my cheap cathode is mostly done. yeah, i know. it took me forever. and while i like the way the ribbing fits on my hips, the rest is far too large. i still need to do the ribbing on the collar, and will probably end up giving it as a xmas gift.

i'm also making the antique stitch scarf from the spring/summer 2005 issue of vogue knitting. i'm about halfway done, and have only used one of the three skeins of andean treasure in peach that i bought, so i'm going to have a full skein left over. i might make a one skein wonder, but i'm not sure. *whoops! just checked the pattern specs, and one skein won't be enough for it. maybe i'll just make sure i have some extra left over from the second skein...

i just started working on the yoga mat bag from stitch 'n bitch nation the other day. i have the strap on and just cast on the 80 stitches for the main part of the bag. i'm just using some cotton-ease yarn from lion brand (which is actually the recommended yarn) in bluberry (a nice, dark blue).

also, the big-ass hobo bag has finally found its caling. i had a bit of the brighter yarn that i had to use to finish it, so i extended the strap a tiny bit and now it's a holder for my balance ball. however, it looks like a giant breast, so...yeah. i need to post some pictures of it.

i'm also working on the leaf pattern scarf from the spring/summer 2005 issue of vogue knitting. it's going to be a xmas present, i think. it's really pretty so far. i'll probably post some pictures of it and list the yarns i'm using later in the week.

as for future projects...

once i finish the antique stitch scarf, i'm going to make this tank top from glampyre for nadine. i'm going to be using shine from knitpicks in either cloud, grass, sand, or sky. i'll also need to pick up the needles for it (US 3 24" circs) when i place the order.

also, after i finish up the yoga mat bag, i'm going to make this waist pack thingy, also from glampyre. i need to check that i have the needles and yarn i can use for it. it looks like a fun, short, and interesting project. i can't wait to work on it.

and...that's all. and, yes. i am doing and planning on doing a lot of stuff from glampyre.
